The V-Rod is visually distinct from other Harley-Davidson. It can easily be identified to support the 60 ° V-twin engine, the radiator and the hydroformed frame, the members of the air filter cover laptop. a clear difference between the Harley V-Rod and any other production, is the position of the fuel tanks. True to the basic VR-1000 Superbike is still a platform around which Harley-Davidson builds drag-racing competition to be material. All VRSC models are produced in the Harley-Davidson Vehicle and Powertrain Operations in Blue Springs, Kansas City, Missouri.
The VRSCDX is marketed with the customized version of the Night Rod labor standards, and is also part of the Harley-Davidson "Dark Custom" series. In addition to a rear tire 240 mm wide, most of the components of VRSCD chromium have been replaced with black. The wheels were replaced by blacks with perforated disc wheels, the dark orange pinstripes. The straight-shot dual exhaust system made according to the manufacturer of 120 hp (89 kW) shaft. A 5-liter tank has been standard. The DX also has a bridge that leads running. In 2008, the Night Rod Special VRSCDX of the revolution of 1130 to 1250 cubic centimeters (69 to 76 cu in) to increase, maintain, in which a pair of 85 foot-pounds of force (115 N · m) @ 7000 rpm and a minute peak power of 125 HP (93 kW) to the crank, a wet clutch also included, as well as an ABS option. For the year 2012 has brought a model of the tenth anniversary of Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special version. The main features include a straight-shot exhaust with chrome slash-cut two, and quiet chrome exhaust heat shield, divided into five rings of aluminum alloy with glints of diamond cut, polished surface, with drop handlebars, forks reversed d 'stylized silver and shiny surfaces, chrome visor-screen speed, graphics, 10, including V-Rod Anniversary Emblem, chrome and platinum powertrain housing and cylinder heads.
The revolution of the motor
The Revolution engine is based on the VR-1000 Superbike program, Harley-Davidson powertrain engineering team has developed. It is a liquid cooled, DOHC, in balanced at 60 degrees V-twin engine with a displacement of 69 cubic inches (1130 cc), produces 115 hp (86 kW) at 8,250 rpm crank minutes, with a 9,000 redline revolutions per minute. It was introduced to the new V-Rod line in 2001 for model year 2002, starting with the single VRSCA (V-Twin Racing Street Custom) model.Version 1250 cc Screamin 'Eagle Revolution engine was made available for 2005 and beyond were present to a production model in 2005 and 2007 in 2008, the standard 1250 cc engine revolution for the entire VRSC line. Harley-Davidson claims 123 hp (92 kW) crank for the 2008 model VRSCAW. The Destroyer is a VRXSE stroker (75mm crank) Screamin 'Eagle 1300 cc (79 cu in) Revolution Engine, which has provided more than 165 hp
