Suzuki GSX-R1000

The Suzuki GSX-R1000 sport bike is a Suzuki GSX-R series of motorcycles. E 'was introduced in 2001 to replace the GSX-R1100 and is powered by a 999 cc liquid-cooled (61.0 cu in) inline four-cylinder four-stroke engine powered.

On September 22, 2006, revealed a
significant upgrade GSX-R1000 for 2007 at the Salon de l'Automobile in Paris. The new bike gained 14 pounds (6.4 kg) for the 2006 model, which was due to its new exhaust system and new emissions regulations. To combat this weight gain, according to Suzuki improved aerodynamics and a more rapid and accelerator revving engine power to 168 hp (125 kW) increased to 11,500 rpm. Although not an entirely new model, engine and chassis have been updated. Furthermore, had the three different engine mapping configurations, selectable via two buttons on the right side of the handlebar. One of the top, and a down arrow key to select (reduced power is applied to 50% gas) between the A mode (but without limitation), the mode B and mode C (reduced output of the velocity field independently of the application of gas). It also took a hydraulic clutch.

The model 2007-2008 passed without major improvements.
